What We Do

TZC plays an integral role in the Toronto Jewish community, proudly advocating for Israel and supporting the well-being of Canadian Jewry. Our efforts focus on building bridges, educating, and uniting our community through advocacy and action.

The TZC supports many Toronto grassroots organizations that support our community and Israel. We support with physical space at our Marlee location and provide resources and some funding.

During the 2023 war in Israel the TZC gave material support to the weekly Rally for Israel at Bathurst and Sheppard in Toronto. This rally was in support Israel’s soldiers and hostages, their families and the local Jewish community. This rally continues to garner local, national and international recognition as possibly the longest running, weekly pro-Israel rally anywhere in the world. Th TZC remains committed to supporting Israel, amplifying Jewish voices, standing up for our values, and ensuring that every member of our community feels heard, protected, and empowered.
