These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Toronto Zionist Council ("TZC," "we," "us," or "our") website at https://www.torontozionist.com ("Website") and your participation in our events, programs, and services. By accessing our Website or participating in our activities, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You agree to use our Website and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The Website and its content are intended solely for users who wish to learn about and participate in TZC's community activities and advocacy initiatives.
The Toronto Zionist Council name, logo, and wordmark are registered trademarks. All content on our Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of TZC or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. Use of our content requires prior written permission, which may be requested by contacting support@torontozionist.com.
While we maintain presence on various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and TikTok), interactions on these platforms are governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. While we monitor our social media accounts, we cannot guarantee timely responses to all communications on these platforms.
TZC works in partnership with local law enforcement, the Jewish Security Network, and private security partners to maintain safe, family-friendly environments at our events. However, due to the presence of counter-protesters and potential security risks, we provide the following notices:
a) Security conditions may change without warning b) We will promptly communicate any heightened security concerns to event attendees c) Security screening may be required for certain events d) Registration may be required for participation in specific events
By attending TZC events, you acknowledge and agree that:
a) Participation in public events carries inherent risks b) TZC is not liable for any property damage or personal injury that may occur during our community events c) You have considered the risks associated with participation d) You will comply with all security measures and instructions provided by event organizers
TZC reviews applications for advocacy support on a case-by-case basis. Approval depends on:
a) Available resources b) Alignment with TZC's mission and values c) Current community needs and priorities
For equipment provided through our advocacy support program:
a) Users are responsible for replacement value of lost or damaged equipment b) TZC does not guarantee equipment performance c) TZC assumes no liability for damages or injuries resulting from equipment use
TZC is a registered Canadian non-profit charity authorized to issue tax receipts for eligible donations.
All donations are final and non-refundable.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of our Website or participation in our activities constitutes acceptance of any modifications to these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TZC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
a) Your participation in TZC events or activities b) Your use or inability to use our services c) Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
